About the role
The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the daily management of cloud kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, production efficiency, food safety compliance, and cost control. The role oversees kitchen production, staff supervision, order accuracy, and operational execution across delivery-focused brands.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years as Sous Chef.
Previous experience in Cloud Kitchen, Central Kitchen, QSR, Virtual Brands, or High-Volume Food Production environments.
Experience managing multi-brand kitchen operations preferred.
Strong understanding of delivery aggregator operations (Talabat, Snoonu, Deliveroo, Rafeeq, etc.).
Responsibilities
Supervise daily food production and service operations.
Ensure all recipes, portion controls, and preparation standards are followed.
Monitor production schedules to meet order demand and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with dispatch and packaging teams for smooth order fulfillment.
Ensure all menu items are prepared according to approved specifications.Ensure full compliance with HACCP, local municipality regulations, and food safety standards.
Monitor temperature logs, storage procedures, and sanitation schedules.
Conduct routine kitchen inspections.
